TM “TRIORA” creates a positive atmosphere in the children’s infectious hospital in Kyiv

In the hospital, the most severe infectious patients are treated not only from Kyiv but also from all over Ukraine. In the hospital’s box-type department, there are 12 rooms where children with diphtheria and complicated forms of airborne infections are located. Some children spend several months in the boxes.

Although the “Colors of Life” project was initially aimed at improving the atmosphere in maternity hospitals in Ukraine, we expanded it and believe that helping to lift the spirits of sick children in a children’s infectious hospital fully aligns with the project’s goals. After all, the colorful transformation of the walls will impact the creation of a new positive atmosphere, in which it will be easier for children to cope with illnesses, – Oleh Zakhorolskyi, Development Director and Founder of “ZIP” company.

The drawings on the walls of the boxes are less bright than in maternity hospitals because, according to psychologists’ advice, they are done in pastel and beige tones. Two box rooms in the hospital were painted through the efforts of TM Triora and Rotary Club.
