“ZIP” – with love for creativity

Who knows how to heal with a kiss, who makes the most delicious pancakes and tells the most interesting fairy tales? Who loves us through arguments or misunderstandings? For whom are we the dearest even before we are born? Yes, these are our mothers.

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, which is celebrated annually on the second Sunday of May, the weekly newspaper “Sobytiye” announced a contest called “My Mom…”

Young residents of Kamianske were invited to sincerely and creatively tell the whole city about their dearest person. According to the newspaper’s traditions, the contest rules did not limit children in their creativity. Participants were encouraged to draw a portrait of their mother and to share what makes their mom special and why they love her so much. The editorial office will accept entries from participants until May 26 inclusive, and the jury is already preparing for a tough evaluation process.
